Grantwriting Resources:
Explore the Foundation Center's Grantmaker
Web Resource. The Center's Grantmaker Information directory is comprised
of two broad categories: links, both direct and annotated, to more than 160
grantmaker Web sites; and a range of informational materials (e.g., program
brochures, application procedures, press releases, FAQs, etc.) produced by
individual foundations and hosted by the Center as part of its "Foundation
Folder" initiative.
Also try the Research Funding
Service Website at the University of Washington. This site features:
- Clean, clear design and easy to follow organization
- Getting Started page for novice grantseekers
- Career Development page organized by career stage of researchers
- A"What's Hot" box features links to frequently used resources or health
science military funding
- "Funded Research" list of all federal agencies' searchable databases
Down-Loadable Forms for Grant Submission:
- Always check the file extension and confirm that you have the application
necessary to use the file.
- Be sure to confirm that the printout you use matches the "official
version" of published forms.
- Check the date on the form to be sure it is current.
- Remember, unless templates have been designed for use by your institution,
they may include information specific to the institution which did develop
them.
- Be sure to change this information and proof the final version carefully.
